House Fire in Commerce, GA

Challenge

The wood-burning stove burned through the floor system. Structural damage into the unfinished basement, damage to roof and smoke, water and fire damage throughout the structure. Firemen cut a hole through the roof to gain access.

Solution

Our team of IICRC experts went to work and tarped and boarded up the structure.  We then consulted with the adjuster to evaluate the structural damage, the water, smoke, and soot damage gaining approval to remove all damaged materials, dry the structure remove salvageable contents, and begin the process of treating and cleaning all remaining affected materials. We treated the entire affected structure for odor.

Our reconstruction team also met with the adjuster to provide estimates and plans for the reconstruction to begin as soon as possible after the water and fire mitigation efforts were complete.  We were able to deliver this project on time, on budget, and return this house to pre-loss condition.
